The Forum Praha

The Forum is one of the largest historical buildings on Wenceslas Square and is listed as a cultural monument of the capital. This prestigious neo-Baroque building was built in 1896. The building is dominated by a unique imperial staircase with stucco decoration. The building originally housed the insurance company Assicurazioni Generali, where one of the most influential writers of the 20th century, Franz Kafka, worked.
